Nemoto & Co. Ltd, since its founding 65 years ago, has developed
and will continue to develop technologically unique products in
the fields of Safety, Security and Health for the benefit of the
society.
One of Nemoto's remarkable inventions has been the super bright
and long afterglow phosphorescent pigment, LumiNova®. This invention
that has been awarded various prizes in Japan, such as Nikkei
Best Product Award in 1994, New Business Grand Prize in 1995,
Ohkohchi Memorial Technological Prize in 1996, etc., has shattered
all existing standards of glow-in-the-dark pigments that have
been trenched for more than 100 years. The invention of this "revolutionary"
product and application fields that it has created, has forced
the industries using phosphorescent pigments to upgrade their
existing standards many fold.
Throughout its existence, Nemoto has expanded its product range
and fields from chemicals to electronics to life sciences. Therefore
our future goal is again to continue developing not only new products
but also new technologies that meet the needs of the world, and
we will thus grow as a high technology oriented company on the
