Settlement agreement with Artemis Ltd.

Settlement agreement with Artemis Ltd., 42-44 Albert Road, Braintree/Essex CM7 3JQ, Great Britain

We have been in legal dispute about the question whether a phosphorescent pigment sold and distributed by Artemis Ltd. under the code SA-9 is violating the European Patent 0622440 of Nemoto & Co., Ltd.

In order to settle the dispute in an amicable way the parties agreed on the following:

Artemis Ltd. accepts the existence of NEMOTO's European Patent 0622440.
Artemis Ltd. acknowledges that their merchandise pigment "SA-9" falls within the scope of NEMOTO's European patent 0622440.
Artemis Ltd. withdraws SA-1 and SA-9 and any other similar co-doped aluminates from the market and from Artemis' website.
