The technology fostered by Nemoto in developing and manufacturing phosphorescent materials is also applied to special phosphors.
These phosphors are required to have a long life and high luminance and are constantly evolving. Under the theme “Challenging the development of original and creative technologies,” Nemoto is continuing to pursue phosphors of high quality and is expanding the applications of phosphors to various segments based on its unique concepts.
1.Phosphors for Display Devices
Nemoto is developing and producing phosphors for display devices featuring high luminance, long life, and high color reproducibility performance.
2.Phosphors for Lighting
Nemoto is also handling phosphors for neon signboards, for show case lamps, for blacklight lamps and other applications, in addition to phosphors for three band fluorescent lamps used in residential houses, offices and shops. Nemoto is also developing phosphors of various types for white LEDs.
3.Phosphors for Security Application
The phosphors produced by Nemoto are used for the protection of brands, for the prevention of forgery of stocks and bonds and for other purposes. Placing great importance on security and confidentiality in handling customer information, Nemoto concludes a nondisclosure agreement and other documents with its customers to pay attention to every detail in accordance with customer applications and to facilitate information exchange with its customers.
Phosphors can be made into ink and paint and can be kneaded in resins. They can be processed into other forms also. Nemoto is ready to respond to specific customer requirements by making a technical study and looks forward to receiving inquiries for specific requirements.
